U.S. First 1995 Robot

In 1994 our robot was called 'RoboColt' named after Cortez High School, our high School. Since this was our second year in the competition we decided to name our robot R2C2. (RoboColt2). We worked with engineers from Honeywell for the second year in a row. It was one of the best learning (not to mention FUN) experinces we ALL had durning High School. We divided up into seperate groups to work on different parts of the robot.. Mobilty, Defense, Offense, Strategy, etc.. After a week or so of brain storming, we had our idea and started creating R2C2!! Our Robot was very similar to many other robots.. We had a 'scoop' with four arms to support the ball while we moved around the field as well as while we scored. Our main method of scoring was to grab the ball then go under the goal and go back and fourth, as much as we could until time ran out.

Here R2C2 Waits for the next match...

Watch as R2C2 scores!!
