Boombl4 has been part of the Natus Vincere team for a while, and people who make eSports bets on GGBet often chose them as favorites. The bookmaker is also the official sponsor of NAVI in Counter-Strike. But from now on, fans of the team will have to watch a different roster. This is because Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhaylov was kicked out from the team, and he will be replaced by Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev for the following BLAST Premier: Spring Finals.

The departure of the captain comes after his ex-wife allegedly recorded him using drugs. She made controversial statements about her ex-husband after announcing their divorce on her Telegram account.

The Allegations

Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhaylov was married to Angelika “LiQueen” Mikhailova. However, not long ago, she and the former Natus Vincere captain decided to divorce.

Things sadly escalated, as the former wife of Boombl4 allegedly took a video of the captain using drugs. Apparently, he used a very powerful stimulant known as mephedrone. LiQueen was allegedly the one who uploaded the video to the Internet.

The ex-wife of the captain went to her Telegram account where she made a few posts announcing the divorce, after which she mentioned how Boombl4 was addicted to mephedrone. She also leaked the video and a photo of him.

Boombl4 confirmed that he and his wife divorced, and he also declared that he was being blackmailed with videos and pictures. He made the confirmation after the material was leaked to the internet.

“Today I got divorced from my wife and was blackmailed with various photos/videos and also a huge amount of fake information,” he said on Twitter in a post. “Soon I will be filing libel suits. Many thanks to everyone for the support and understanding at a difficult time for me.”

Boombl4 and LiQueen got a lot of attention after the former NAVI captain proposed to her in last November’s PGL Stockholm Major live broadcast. This all happened not long after G2 was beaten by NAVI in the event’s grand finals.

Although fans were hoping for the best for the young couple, controversy struck in April 2022 when LiQueen went to social media to post a picture of her. It was not an ordinary picture, though. On one of her cheeks, a Russian flag was painted. This all seemed like a supportive gesture towards Russia after the Ukraine invasion began.

After the PGL Antwerp Major concluded in May and FaZe Clan beat Natus Vincere, Boombl4 was removed from the active roster. They used “high reputational risks” as motivation. Ever since his removal, the former captain hasn’t been active. Moreover, he also did not show that he is currently looking forward to joining a new CS: GO, team.

On May 28, Natus Vincere made a statement on their website where they first announced the captain was being kicked. At the same time, NAVI thanked Boombl4 for everything he did for the team and for his participation in the large tournaments which led to them winning several times.

His teammates said some positive things about him too. Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev went to Twitter to make a statement.

“This is how this world works, I want to thank you @Boombl4CS for everything you have done, without you, not a single player of our team has achieved all the achievements that we experienced together in joy and sorrow, good luck and maybe one day we will play together again.” the AWPer said.

Who Is Going to Replace Boombl4?

Not long ago, Natus Vincere announced that Boombl4 will now be replaced by Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev so they can take part in the BLAST Premier: Spring Finals this month. He joined the roster on a MAD Lions-free temporary loan.

Viktor started playing with MAD Lions in January after he’s been a member of Team Spirit. So far, it is unknown whether the Ukrainian rifler will stay with NAVI in the long term.

“Whether Viktor continues to play for NAVI in the future depends on his performance in the upcoming tournament,” the team said.

People can watch NAVI in the BLAST Premier: Spring Finals from June 15 to June 19. The event has a $425,000 prize pool and will take place in Lisbon, Portugal. So, if you still want to support the team, you can keep an eye on the rest of the members, which are b1t, s1mple, Perfecto, and electronic, with B1ad3 being their coach.

As for Boombl4, nobody knows what will happen in the future and if we’ll see him as part of another CS: GO, team.

The Bottom Line

Now that Boombl4 was kicked from NAVI, people want to see what happens between the former captain and his ex-wife and whether he will participate in professional sports in the future. In the meantime, you can look at NAVI and see how they perform with the different rosters.
