Some of the things take time to master. However, a lot of professional players whom you can see playing on an Apex Legends Tournament utilize some of the basic things in the book to make the most out of their performance. So, today you will learn about a few very simple tips that will help you step up your game significantly! One of the toughest things new players struggle with is looting and inventory management. When your feet touch the ground, your priority needs to be finding a weapon.

If there’s a purple shield next to a gun, you take the gun every single time. The shield may be tempting, but it isn’t going to do much other than help you die a bit longer as your hands are going to be empty. If you do get a weapon, the second thing will be looking for a shield, then a grenade, then healing items. Grenades are extremely powerful but very situational, so you must prioritize your looting in the way we just described.

One of the mistakes new players make very often is carrying too many healing items. Your shield will always be the first to take damage. So, you should be prioritizing cells and batteries. Never take more than two medkits and 4 syringes. The other thing new players do is carry too much ammo. Unless you’re playing as Octane, who needs some extra syringes for his tactical as players on Octane, tend to burn his health pretty quickly.

Grenades are critically important in the game, and they are often overlooked. This is a mistake that a lot of players make. Grenades could be the easiest way to wipe a squad due to their versatile nature. You absolutely need to be taking one. All the 3 grenades are great to get enemies out of cover, which can be very important in making plays go your way. This becomes even more so the longer the game goes on. The smaller the ring is, the less cover there is for enemies to sit behind. Once simple grenade placement in the building, behind a rock, or at enemies’ feet means they will be sent scrambling. This opens a door of opportunities.

One of the most unique parts of this game is your legend. There are a lot of options, and each of them has a unique play style and abilities. You will see PRO players utilize different legends during the Apex Legends Tournament 2021. The truth is, though, your Legend matters very little when you are first getting into the game.

It is still a shooter first, and your focus needs to be on guns skill, awareness, and positioning. Some of these take time to build but don’t get overwhelmed with not knowing every little ability for every legend. Some legends can definitely be recommended as starting or easy to pick. Still, gun skills are what matters most. So, what weapons should you be using? There are a lot of games in Apex.

Some of them can be tough to use, though. Don’t be discouraged from using all of them, but be prepared for a challenge if you’re using something like a Wingman. There’s a weapon for each situation for sure. However, some of them have additional mechanics that can be confusing to newer players. So, the trick here is to stick to simple guns that you understand how they work. Some weapons have a higher skill ceiling due to requiring pin-point accuracy and recoil control.

Each class of weapons has a simple gun and a few options that are a bit more challenging to be good with. Lastly, did you know that there are companies out there that offer to team you up with real PRO players so you can learn directly from the best players in this game? You should definitely look up those!
