2019 was a highly anticipated year for Hollywood as the audience eagerly awaited some amazing movies to be released. There was a lot of excitement and hype surrounding Avengers: End game. And rightly so. After all, it marked the end of an era. The movie surpassed the $2 billion mark during its second week in the theaters becoming the fastest film to reach that mark.
Avengers: End game was followed by the Disney Classics, Aladdin and Lion King. Spiderman: Far From Home was welcomed with open arms by Marvel fans. DC fans, on the other hand, were treated with the release of Joker, a movie that has already been deemed Oscar-worthy.
It seems, however, the Box Office has no plans of slowing down anytime soon; it still has an entire list of some amazing titles for the last three months of the year.
Terminator: Dark Fate
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, and James Cameron have teamed up again after 35 years. Directed by Tim Miller (of Deadpool fame), this movie is all set to take its audience down the memory lane. The 6th sequel of the franchise is directly related to the 2nd part, Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor) has returned with Arnold Schwarzenegger to protect Ramos (Natalia Reyes), Mackenzie Davis (a cyborg), and her friends since they are important to the future.
The movie was initially termed as Terminator: Phoenix. However, in February 2019, it was announced it would be titled as Terminator: Dark Fate, which begs the question if it is going to have a happy ending.

Charlie’s Angels
Charlie’s angels are called from ‘across’ to protect the society after a Systems engineer blows the whistle over a dangerous technology. The action-comedy movie is back for a third time to entertain the audience. The trio Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu did an amazing job at providing security and intelligence services to private clients. However, the task has now been assigned to the megastar from Twilight, Kristen Stewart, the Disney princess, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska.
The movie has been directed by Elizabeth Banks, who recently completed Pitch Perfect. Like its predecessors, the third sequel also seems like an entire package that comes with some great action, timely comedy, and beautiful locations.

Gemini Man
Henry Brogan (Will Smith) becomes the target of an assassin who can predict his every move for some reason. To his horror, Henry finds out the assassin is no one but a younger cloned version of himself. Smith’s co-star is Clive Owen, who plays the role of the man who created Smith’s clone.
The sci-fi movie has been directed by Academy Awards winner Ang Lee who has successfully directed two movies Life of Pi and BrokeBack Mountain.
This movie doesn’t stand out only because of its cast, but also because of its outstanding graphic effects. Visual effects experts have been able to create an entirely new digital human being that seems so real. It took Lee two years and some 500 visual effects artists to come up with this.
Gemini Man is one of those movies that have a lot of risks attached because you never know if they would work until it is too late to turn back. The trailer looks promising, though.

The Addams Family
This list would not be complete without the mention of one of the most favorite cartoon series, The Addams Family. Known for its title track and horror-comedy, the Addams family is back, this time in the theatre, to take its audience down the memory lane.
The new animated version shows the creepy family going to New Jersey. Christina Aguilera has sung ‘Haunted Heart’ as a background score for Morticia Addams. The song is pretty amazing and aptly matches Morticia’s loud and powerful character.
The movie version seems quite similar to the cartoons, so we don’t expect anything extraordinary from this. It would be worth the nostalgia trip though.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
The epic saga is finally coming to a close after nearly four decades and nine movies. The movie is the third sequel in the trilogy after The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. The third installment continues one year after the Last Jedi as the Resistance faces The First Order once again. At the same time, the old war between the Jedi and Sith takes a new turn.
The movie is highly anticipated. This can be seen from the fact its trailer on YouTube has already been viewed more than 32 million times.
