Because Valorant is one of Asia’s most popular esports games, the championships will be held in Seoul, South Korea, next year. It will be the first time a live VCT Masters event has been held in an Eastern country, specifically South Korea. Due to its large Korean fanbase, the Valorant tournament is expected to draw many visitors.
CS: GO Major
Next year’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event will be held in Paris. The championship, which will be organized by BLAST, will last two weeks, from May 8 to May 21, 2023. It is the first time BLAST, and Valve have worked together to create the ultimate gaming experience.
Because CS: GO tournaments attract a large audience and millions of views. The 2023 Major will undoubtedly be a success.

Cybersports Hot News
Call of Duty League Major 3 Sets New Attendance Records at Esports Stadium, Arlington
According to Esports Charts, Activision’s Call of Duty League (CDL) Stage 3 Major attracted 335,170 viewers at its peak over the weekend.
The event has become the most-watched in Call of Duty League history, with the highest peak viewership since the league transitioned to a franchise system in 2020. The league’s viewership has increased since its return to Twitch from YouTube in December last year.
The figure was recorded during the semifinal match between OpTic Texas and Atlanta FaZe, likely boosted by the teams’ large fanbases. The final drew around 1,000 fewer viewers than usual, with Toronto ULTRA emerging victorious after defeating hometown favorites OpTic.
On March 9th-12th, the event was held at OpTic’s Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with a Challengers Open Tournament for non-franchised teams running concurrently with the main finals.
The Major also broke viewership time records, with 5.5 million hours watched over modest airtime of just over 30 hours. In addition to the mainstream’s six-figure viewership, the figures include a wide range of co-streams and watch parties, with OpTic Scump registering over 175,000 unique viewers.
The CDL’s previous record was held by the 2020 finals, which saw 331,558 fans tune in for the end of its first season, now in its third season since switching to a franchised league format. Several franchises have changed hands since then. OpTic and Envy, Gaming’s Call of Duty teams, will merge into a single squad in 2021.
Spots in the CDL originally cost $25 million (£20.7 million), and speculation about an expansion abounds, as it has with other esports franchised leagues since its inception. As of this writing, only two of CDL’s 12 franchises are based outside the United States: the London Royal Ravens and the Toronto Ultra.
Savvy Games Group Invests $265 Million in VSPO in Its Series C Round
VSPO, formerly VSPN, a Chinese esports production company, announced a $265 million (£221.6 million) Series C investment from Savvy Games Group (SGG).
SGG, a Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF)-backed company, also owns ESL FACEIT Group (EFG). Thanks to the all-cash investment, Savvy Games Group is now the largest overseas shareholder of VSPO.
It’s one of the largest investments in esports history, and VSPO has demonstrated that esports is still worth investing in in 2023. It is also a watershed moment in Saudi Arabia’s ambitions to become a global hub for gaming and esports, transitioning from underdog to esports leader.
As China’s largest esports production company, VSPO will bring to the Saudi region key experiences in hosting mobile tournaments such as the King Pro League (KPL) and the Peace Elite League (PEL). Expect several regional esports events and a closer relationship between China and Saudi Arabia.
Conclusion
The world of Esports is full of exciting and glorious events regarding offline tournaments. In 2023, Esports fans have a lot to look forward to.
