50 genuinely memorable movie death scenes - Den of Geek

For over 22 movies, death has proved to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It has had its chance of killing a few of its characters.

One of the films that have a significant share of these deaths appears to be Avengers: Infinity war. There was a lot of bloodshed during the fights that led to the killings.

Business Insider had a look at the Marvel movies’ death rates and found more than 33 and counting major killings.

And who knows, there could be some who are on the dead list who may find their way out to life once more. Such scenarios were seen in the Avengers: Endgame, where Thanos decided to destroy half of the humanity in the universe.  Interestingly, everyone thought the dudes were gone forever.

But the Avengers had a way to bring back their friends to life. The mission was a real sacrifice when some heroes tried to bring back their fellows.

When it comes to deaths, avengers movies seem to have it all.

Here is a list of these death scenes that are vivid in my memory, and perhaps they could be to any Marvel movies fan. The list excludes the characters that died but came back to life. Characters like Black Panther, who came back when Captain America was about to face Thanos alone.

Or Doctor Strange, who used his powers to create a hole in an alien world and made to bring back all Marvel characters who had disappeared during the fight against Thanos. This is when Thanos gets on time for the Avengers attack.

Movie Death scenes that burn up in my memory

 Ultron: Avengers: Age of Ultron

Cause of death: He sacrificed his own artificial life and was killed by vision.

Ultron was an intelligent man as he appeared in the MCU. He was a program created by Tony Stark and possessed most to the host bodies and personality of the creator. Besides, had the ability to protect the earth from all kinds of threats.

However, it seemed Ultron was an enemy to peace on earth when he attempted to develop a technological singularity. With this, he was able to conquer the Avengers. Unfortunately, his allies like the Big Guy, Genie, and the Iron Man abandoned him. The abandonment came about when the allies learned of his commitment to the extinction-level genocide.

He has used a device that contained Chitauri and Vibranium technology to get Novi Grad. The intention was to wipe out all humanity. Things went wrong at the point of success; Ultron’s plans were wiped out by the Avengers and his body was destroyed by Vision.

Doctor Aldrich Killian in Iron Man 3

Cause of death: He came face to face with Pepper Potts, who blasted him off with a repulsor arm.

Killian wanted Tony Stark to join his research of the Idea mechanics, but Stark refused. He participated in the development of Maya Hansen, where they combined a group of soldiers.

Killian was so cunning that he adopted the use of Ten Rings to mask his malicious activities. Later on, he kidnapped Matthew Ellis and Pepper Potts but was confronted by Iron Man, who defeated him. But later on, due to his Extremis powers, he injured Tony Stark after serving the exploding.

While Killina boasted of his crimes, he stated that the two should stop wearing false faces. It was not until Pepper Potts attacked Killian from behind. Though Killina tried to retaliate, Pepper ripped a repulsor arm and used its powers to blast Killan to the ground.

The death scene was devastating as Potts threw an explosive bullet casing that exploded on Killans face and killed him even before his body could fully rejuvenate.

Obadiah Stane in Iron Man

Cause of death: He died after an explosion.

Stane was the CEO of Stark Industries, and later the business went over to Tony. But his jealousy could not stop him from joining the Ten Rings to see whether he could become the CEO again.

Interestingly, he armed Stark Industries weapons with the Ten Rings in an attempt to facilitate a campaign in Gulmira. But Pepper Potts revealed his illegal activities. The act made Stane create Iron Monger Armor in an attempt to kill Stark. And this led to his own death.

Ivan Vanko in Iron Man 2

Cause of death: His own suit of armor destroyed him

Ivan has a criminal history, just like his father. He would sell illegal weapons and kill innocent people who seemed to block his way. He wanted to take revenge on the Stark family, and this made him become an armored supervillain.

The final game was when he engaged in a war with Iron Man and War Machine. The first left him defeated, and this made him activate a self-destruct armor. This was to put Stark to an end, but it failed, leading to his death.

Alexander Pierce – Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Cause of death: Fury killed him

Pierce was a leader of HYDRA. He also oversaw S.H.I.E.L.D operations and selected Fury to be the director.

He was on a mission to assassinate Steve Rogers together with Nick Fury and Natasha Romanoff. Later, he watched over while Project Insight was destroyed by Captain American and Hill and Falcon’s efforts.

Pierce watched Captain America’s plans from a window. It was not until Project Insight Heli carriers started firing on one another. His attempts to use Project Insight would later find him in danger. He tried to force Fury to let him go by using Black Widow’s clothes threats.

Sadly, this saga made Fury shoot Pierce in the chest. Pierce would be heard uttering the words of ‘Hail HYDRA’ as he died in a pool of blood.

Darren Cross- Ant-Man

Due to his knowledge of Pym Technologies, he tried to have his own version. But his attempts hit a dead rock when Pym discovered the mission with the help of Scott Lang assistance. This made Darren angry, and he tried to murder Lang and his family, but later vanished.

He used to murder homeless people in an attempt to take their hearts to save his life. The end of his life came about when they engaged in a fight with Scott Lang after the kidnapping of Erica Sondheim.
